            A public hearing to receive citizen input on the imposition of a 2% Local
            Hospitality Fee within the City of Florence.

a.         Ms. Michelle Law - to address Council with concerns and ideas for Iola
                                Jones Park and neighborhood

b.         Reverend Nolan Sellers - to address Council regarding taxi cab rates
                                          within the City of Florence

c.         Mrs. Angela Ketcham - to make a brief statement regarding
                                      continued  research and previous request
                                      concerning development on Beltline Drive.

VIII.    ORDINANCES IN POSITION

a.         Bill No. 2003-16 - Second Reading

                        An Ordinance to amend the budget for the City of Florence, South
                        Carolina for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002, and ending June 30, 2003.

b.         Bill No. 2003-17 - Second Reading

                        An Ordinance to amend Section 12-167 of the City of Florence,
                        South Carolina Code of Ordinances pertaining to monthly billing, due
                       and delinquent taxes, late fee and reconnection fees.

c.         Bill No. 2003-18 - Second Reading

                        An Ordinance to amend Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances for the City
                       of Florence, South Carolina as it pertains to Occupational Licenses, Taxes
                       and Regulations for the purpose of establishing a two percent (2%)
                       local Hospitality Fee on prepared food and beverages for
                      immediate consumption or takeout within the corporate limits of the
                      City of Florence, South Carolina.

d.         Bill No. 2003-20 - Second Reading

                        An Ordinance to annex property owned by Michael Porter at 1337 S.
                        Irby Street.

IX.       INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCES

a.         Bill No. 2003-19 - First Reading

                        An Ordinance to rezone properties owned by Gary Crawford, Wendell
                       E. Jones, Jr., and Werner A. Jacobs located at 600, 602, and 605 South
                       Coit Street by amending the Zoning Atlas of the City of Florence.

b.         Bill No. 2003-21 - First Reading

                        An Ordinance to rezone properties owned by Mrs. Marion Gregg McLaughlin
                        Hornsby and Mrs. Mary Sebrey McLaughlin Clark located in the 500 block
                        of Third Loop Road by amending the Zoning Atlas of the City of Florence.

c.         Bill No. 2003-22 - First Reading

                        An Ordinance to annex property owned by E. B. Development, Inc. located
                        on
Third Loop Road.

d.         Bill No. 2003-23 - First Reading

An Ordinance amending Chapter 12, Article III, Division 3 of the City of Florence, South Carolina Code of Ordinances pertaining to water services charges.

X.        REPORTS TO COUNCIL

a.         A Report of Findings from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regarding
the Jeffries Creek aquatic ecosystem restoration study.

b.         Mr. Mike Sprott, 2003 Great American Cleanup Chairman, to give a report
to Council regarding the Keep Florence Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup results.
